How Does Therapy Work?
Counseling services include psychotherapy in which you meet one-on-one (individually) with a therapist to address issues you are struggling with in your life. During the course of therapy, you and your counselor will discuss what goals you’d like to achieve. These goals are related to the issues that bring you to therapy in the first place.
Are You The Right Fit For Me?
Many of these issues stem from emotional difficulties related to your mood, like depression and anxiety. Our therapists are also versed in helping you with more behavioral related issues like impulsivity and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). If you are struggling with a reaction to trauma, whether in your distant past or a more recent occurrence, we have special training to help you minimize and reduce the effects from it.
