DBT Skills Group

Wednesdays at 5:30pm – 7:00pm | $89

The Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training Group offers an empirically validated set of skills to help individuals live a more centered life. In a DBT Skills Group, members will learn how to live more fully in the present moment (mindfulness), how to have more effective relationships with others (interpersonal effectiveness), how to identify and manage emotions (emotion regulation), and strategies to help effectively survive an emotional crisis (distress tolerance). This group is for anyone who struggles to control their feelings and who desires skills to manage intense emotions and thoughts. Individuals with anxiety, depression, impulsive behaviors (self-harm, binging/purging) and who are struggling with building a life worth living are great candidates for this group.

DBT Grad Group

Wednesdays at 4:00pm – 5:00pm | $75

The DBT Grad group is designed for members who would like to expand knowledge of the DBT skills. This group covers a broader range of skills that we are unable to fully cover in an introductory skills training group. The Grad Group also offers strategies to manage challenges and obstacles to skill application and is ideal for those who wish to gain continued support in applying the skills they have learned in their daily life. Candidates for this group are individuals who have taken a complete 4 month cycle of the DBT Skills group. Some individuals who have completed a cycle of DBT in other outpatient settings will also be great candidates for this group.
